REGINA PATRICIA SCHUURMAN
Ink Drawing/Animal Portrait
Regina Patricia Schuurman, or Queen Noble Arts, is born in 1960 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Her passion for drawing started in her childhood, but she did not have a chance to be taught at an art institution. She is a self-taught artist that works in Indian ink, mainly portraits of both people and animals. Recently she expanded her field to acrylic paintings, focusing on animals and landscapes.
Her artworks portray a great presence of emotions with the expression on the faces, or the subjects' relationship with each other. The warm feelings that she has when seeing a photograph, or animals around her is drawn with Indian ink and acrylic paintings.
Painting gives me joy and pleasure, just did not have to learn it from school
